Roles & Responsibilities Greet and receive patients, visitors, and attendants courteously. Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiries. Handle incoming and outgoing calls and provide accurate information. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for smooth patient flow. Maintain patient records and update details in the hospital system. Collect consultation charges and issue receipts, where applicable. Guide patients regarding hospital services, procedures, and billing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Handle patient concerns politely and escalate issues when required. Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications Any graduate / higher secondary (HSC) qualification. 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist or front office executive (hospital experience preferred). Good communication skills in Tamil and English (Hindi/Telugu is an added advantage). Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software). Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Experience in hospital/clinic front office operations. Knowledge of patient billing, insurance, and cash handling. Familiarity with HIS/EMR systems.
