Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospital (KMH) has well equipped structural laboratory with cutting-technologies and is accredited by 'NABL' (National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories). The laboratory services are designed to meet the needs of patients and medical professionals looking for test results, appropriate interpretation and advisory services.

All the Laboratory specialities are well equipped with State of the Art equipments, fully automated and some of the specialities are integrated. All the analysers are bidirectionally interfaced with Laboratory Information system (LIS) to eliminate the manual programming errors.

Our laboratory automated (and manual) processes occur in three stages:

Preanalytic stage includes, choosing the test, placing the order, preparing the patient, collecting the specimen, transporting the specimen, any specimen preparation work, and daily quality controls.

Analytic stage involves actual testing of the specimen and all routine procedures up to result reporting.

Postanalytic stage is concerned primarily with forwarding final results to the appropriate hospital department or physician.

We investigate around 1000 clinical samples per day with 0% human errors in our laboratory with the help of well trained lab technicians and specialized equipments by maintaining high standards.

With the facilities available in our clinical laboratory, it undertakes Blood, Urine, Feces, Body fluid like Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), Peritoneal fluid (Ascitic fluid), Synovial fluid, Sputum and sweat, operated part of the body, Biopsy materials, Bone marrow and Renal calculi for analysis and reporting for effective diagnosis of diseases.

KMH has the full time pathologists, microbiologists and biochemists in the interpretation and reporting of the results analyzed from the samples collected from the patients. We have well trained healthcare staffs in the maintenance of the laboratory.
