Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities-Insurance Coordinator List out the total Number Of credit patients (All Insurance). To attend the patient side request / Talk to the companies & find the Diagnose with the Consultant. To send the Pre- Authorization form to the concern insurance company. Explain the Admission & Discharge procedure to the patient & attenders also. Before admission or before getting the approval to inform the patient to pay the initial amount to the billing. So, that payment will be refunded if the approval amount is sufficient. To collect the proofs of the patient and handed over the L.O. Always coordinate with them. After Admission information should be intimated to the ward and Pre-Authorization form, Approval form & approval amount information to be send to the ward. Submitting proposal for approval. To make sure the enhancement and correlate with the ward. All data's and activities should be computerized. Any Outside Investigation & Procedures should be followed promptly. To coordinate with the Pharmacy In charge for arranging Insurance patient pharmacy bills up to date. To prepare the claim bill as per company terms (scanned supporting documents to be attached). To send a mail to concern insurance departments. Watch the approval status query. Always should check with concern insurance company through Mobile or Mail. Otherwise Re-submit the form and payment follow up along with bank details. Mail Confirmation should be communicate to relevant consultants and ward staff and accounts dept. To Proper communication about the patient Admission, Approval, Enhancement procedure, Discharge, Payment and cancellation process. To Properly Intimate the consultants about credit limits. To make sure the Surgery details, Summary follow ups with consultants To maintain the good rapport with Consultants. Follow ups for consultant Payments. Desired Candidate Profile Education Qual: Any Graduates Has experience for at least 2+ yrs. as Insurance coordinator in Hospital or Healthcare sector. Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities. Top-notch client interaction skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. A general understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations. Attention to detail and process-orientated thinking. An understanding of emergency protocols and safety guidelines.
