Key Responsibilities 1. Patient Registration & Admission Register patients in the Hospital Information System (HIS). Handle OP/IP registration, admission, and discharge coordination. Verify patient details and maintain accurate records. 2. Appointment & Call Handling Schedule and manage doctor appointments. Attend and respond to incoming calls and patient inquiries. Provide information about hospital services, consultants, and timings. 3. Billing & Payment Handling Generate OP bills and collect payments. Handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately. Issue receipts and maintain transaction records. 4. Patient Service & Support Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Guide patients to appropriate departments and services. Handle patient concerns and escalate when required. 5. Coordination Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, and other departments. Ensure smooth patient flow within the hospital. 6. Documentation & Compliance Maintain proper records and reports related to front office activities. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, customer service standards, and NABH guidelines.
