Run for an Amputation-Free Tamil Nadu β Event Gallery
The Run for an Amputation-Free Tamil Nadu was successfully completed on Sunday, 23 August 2026 as a purpose-driven Chennai running event focused on public awareness and limb preservation. Hosted at Vistas, Pallavaram, Chennai as the start and finish point, with the route proceeding through Pallikaranai, the event brought together 1,800+ runners across 6K and 12K categories. The day reflected three central themes throughout the venue and along the course: community, fitness, and awareness for an Amputation-Free Tamil Nadu, guided by the message, "Every step supports limb preservation."
The initiative was presented by Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospitals, with Chennai Connects serving as the Event Management Partner. Registration and check-in were supported through a QR-code process, and the event experience was designed to be smooth and welcoming for first-time participants, families, corporate teams, and experienced Chennai runners alikeβstrengthening the spirit of the Chennai running community and highlighting the growing interest in running events in Chennai.

Our Mission
As an awareness-focused community run, the event aims to encourage responsible health awareness, emphasizing early detection, timely medical consultation, appropriate treatment, and care that supports limb preservation without making medical assurances. The gallery is presented in this same spirit: to reflect participation, solidarity, and sustained community engagement.
